Women’s Forum – Kick off
The first Women’s forum meeting held on June 25, 2011 at James & Rajamma Xavier’s home was a grand success. Mrs. Rajamma Xavier has been chosen to lead the Forum’s activities for this year. Six accomplished women from the community have volunteered to coordinate several activities throughout the year: Anjali Joswin, Aarti Roshan, Jessy George, Mini Mathew, Seena Mani and Sonia Paul.
Following the Women’s Forum meeting, our first monthly Prayer meeting of the year was also held at the Xavier residence, which had a good representation of adults and kids. We prayed the Rosary, had a Bible Reading and sang a song.
The Forum has already sprung into action by conducting a live auction of fresh home-grown produce after the mass on June 26th.
